The Yale Bulldogs remained undefeated in Ivy League play and won their ninth straight game on Saturday in an 80-78 win over Cornell. Trailing by eight at the half, the Bulldogs roared back in the second half to take a 2-point win over the Big Red and take sole possession of first place in the Ivy League. Danny Wolfe led the way with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds in the win. John Poulakidas added 13 points and Matt Knowling also had a strong performance with 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Bulldogs hope to remain undefeated in the Ivy and make it ten straight victories when they match up with the Quakers on Friday night. The Bulldogs are fourth in the Ivy in scoring offense this season. They are third in field goal percentage and fifth in 3-point shooting. The Bulldogs are also fifth in the conference in 3-point field goals made per week. On the defensive end, the Bulldogs are second in scoring defense. They are first in field goal defense but just 7th in 3-point defense in the Ivy League. Yale is first in total rebounds per game in the conference and seventh in turnovers per game.
