Manhattan vs. Iona  Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-16-2024

The Manhattan Jaspers (5-17, 2-11 MAAC) visit New Rochelle, New York and Hynes Athletic Center on Friday to play the Iona Gaels (12-11, 7-5 MAAC) in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. Manhattan was defeated by Siena 68-63 last Saturday. The Jaspers have lost four straight and 14 out of the last 15. Needless to say, Manhattan is last in the MAAC. Iona was defeated by Canisius 73-69 last Saturday, which snapped a four-game winning streak for the Gaels. Iona is fifth in the MAAC, 3 ½ games behind first place Quinnipiac. Manhattan will play without Brett Rumpel. Iona will play without Idan Tretout.

Manhattan is scoring an average of only 67.2 points per game which is 326th. The Jaspers are shooting only 41.0% (335th) overall and 30.9% (316th) from three point land.
