The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors Tuesday night In-Season Tournament game went beyond intense as the two teams got involved in a bit of a melee that resulted in three ejections in an eventual 104-101 Timberwolves victory. The Timberwolves lost just one player, forward Jaden McDaniels, who fought with the Warriors Klay Thompson before Warriors forward Draymond Green was also ejected for grabbing Minnesota's Rudy Gobert in a headlock. The Timberwolves trailed before the scuffle but rebounded to beat the Warriors for the second time in just over a week. Karl-Anthony Towns had 33 points to lead Minnesota to its 7th straight win to improve to 8-2 on the season.

“We just found a way to win ugly in a game that was pretty ugly,” Minnesota coach Chris Finch said. “All credit to (the Warriors), those guys, they were super physical and took us out of our rhythm. But we found a way to w in it and showed some toughness mentally.”

The T-Wolves have been led by their defense thus far this season. They are first in the league in points against, first in opponent's field goal percentage and first in opponent's 3-point field goal percentage. The T-Wolves also own a 9.0 point differential this season which is third overall in the league and first in the Western Conference.

Key Injuries: PG Jordan McLaughlin is out.
