A pair of Eastern Conference teams tangle on the hardwood as they collide in search of a win in the Windy City. The Orlando Magic is on the road as they make the trip to face the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night. Orlando comes in off a 124-104 road loss to the Nets Monday night, failing to cover the line as a 2.5-point underdog. Chicago was beaten 118-109 by Milwaukee on the road Monday night, though they did cover the line as a 9.5-point underdog. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Bulls own a 65-56 edge but the Magic took two of three meetings last season, including a 100-91 road win in the most recent matchup on February 13, 2023.

Orlando lost for the third time in four games as they were dropped on the road by the Nets in their previous contest. The Magic fell to 5-5 on the season and stood third in the Southeast Division, 1.5 games behind the Heat for the top spot. Against Brooklyn, Orlando trailed by as many as 14 in the opening quarter and by nine after the opening quarter before rallying to lead by three at the half. The Magic trailed by two after three quarters and remained down by a pair with 10:42 remaining before giving up a 12-0 run that left them down 14. Orlando never got closer than 11 the rest of the way. The Magic shot 43.9% from the field, including 16 of 46 from three-point range, and allowed Brooklyn to shoot 54.1% from the floor in the contest. Franz Wagner led Orlando with 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the loss.

The Magic enter this game 26th in the league in scoring offense as t hey average 109.5 points per game on the season. Orlando is 14th in the league in rebounding with 44.5 rebounds per contest while they are 23rd in assists by dishing 24.1 dimes a night. The Magic is 27th in the league in threes per game as they hit 10.5 triples a night while they are 27th in three-point shooting by hitting 33.3% from beyond the arc.

Carter (hand) was injured November 2 against the Jazz and underwent surgery. He is likely out until late November. Fultz (knee) has missed two straight and five of the last six games and Harris (groin) missed the last five games. They are considered questionable here so watch for updates on their respective statuses.
