A pair of programs from Conference USA tangle on the gridiron in search of a victory in the Yellowhammer State. The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs are on the road as they make the trip to face the Jacksonville State Gamecocks Saturday afternoon. Louisiana Tech was beaten 42-27 at home by Sam Houston State in their previous contest last Saturday, losing outright as an eight-point favorite. Jacksonville State had a bye week last week: they were defeated 38-28 on the road by South Carolina in their previous contest back on November 4, though they covered the line as a 14-point underdog. This marks the first time that the programs have met as FBS opponents on the gridiron.
