The Illinois State Redbirds head into Indiana State on the heels of a three-game losing streak following a 69-66 loss against Southern Illinois on Saturday. The Redbirds trailed by 15 points with just over five minutes to play before outscoring SIU 14-2 to close the game but falling just short. Miles Foster scored a team-high 17 points in the loss while converting on 7-of-13 shots. Malachi Poindexter chipped in with 16 points and Kendall Lewis and Johnny Kinziger had 13 and 11 points respectively.
