The Kansas Jayhawks are 19-5 this season and still have a shot at a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. On Saturday, the Jayhawks kept their #1 seed hopes alive with a thrilling 64-61 win over 13th-ranked Baylor at home. The win was the 18th straight for the Jayhawks at home. Hunter Dickinson led the Jayhawks' balanced attack with 15 points but it was the Kansas' defense that set the tone. The Jayhawks forced 21 turnovers and turned away two Baylor three-point attempts to tie the game over the final 15 seconds of the game.

“I was hoping the game was slow, which it was,” Kansas coach Bill Self said. “I was hoping the game was ugly and muddy, which it was, in large part because they turned it over and in large part because we couldn’t make shots.”

The Jayhawks will need to find a way to win on the road this season if they hope to earn a shot at a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks are currently 2-4 on the road this season including 0-2 on the road against ranked opponents. The Jayhawks are second in the Big 12 in points per game this season. They are first in field goal percentage but just eighth in three-point shooting. The Jayhawks are also last in the Big 12 in three-point field goals made per game. They are seventh in scoring defense in the conference. They are third in field goal defense and fifth in 3-point defense. The Jayhawks are ninth in total rebounds per game in the Big 12. They are third in turnovers per game this season in the conference.

Key Injuries: F Kevin McCullar Jr. (knee) is questionable for Monday night.
