The Eastern Michigan Eagles (1-1, 1-1 ATS, 1-1 O/U) battle the Florida Atlantic Owls (1-0, 1-0 ATS, 0-1 O/U) on Tuesday evening. The Eagles posted a home win against Georgia Southern in their previous bout. The Owls beat Loyola Illinois in their lone game of the season.

When it comes to college football picks, our NCAAF Predictions are stellar.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles head into this daunting matchup with confidence. They had a difficult opponent in the opener, dropping an ugly 94-55 road decision to Butler in a matchup that had EMU as 16-point dogs. The squad rebounded nicely. They were 2.5-point dogs in a 70-60 home win against Georgia Southern on Saturday. Eastern Michigan lost two of its top three scorers on last year's squad that only won 8 games.

Tyson Acuff is the leading returning scorer. The junior guard had an outstanding year, sporting an average of 14.3 PPG on 45% shooting. It’s been a subpar opening few games, scoring 28 points on only 30% shooting. Arne Osojnik is a freshman enjoying a remarkable start to the season. The guard out of Slovenia accumulated 13 points against Butler and 18 against Georgia Southern. He has connected on 50% of his field goals. Legend G reeter is expected to increase production this year after averaging 5.6 PPG last year. The sophomore forward has eight points in two games.

The Eagles are marked 313th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and were voted to finish 11th in the MAC preseason coaches’ poll. Eastern Michigan averaged 72 points last year, ranking them 165th. The defense was putrid and resulted in most of the losses, allowing an average of 80.8 points, pegging them 358th. Eastern Michigan is shooting 39.6% after two clashes while opponents have shot 44.7% against them.
