The Denver Nuggets are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Milwaukee Bucks Monday night. Denver was routed 135-106 on the road by Sacramento Friday night in their previous contest, failing to cover the line as a three-point underdog. Milwaukee rolled to a 120-84 home win over Charlotte Friday night, covering the line as a 16-point favorite in the contest. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Nuggets own a 65-39 advantage and have won the last two meetings. That includes a 113-107 home win in the first matchup this season on January 29.

Denver had won three straight and five of six before getting roughed up on the road by the Kings Friday night in their previous contest. The Nuggets entered Sunday 36-17 on the season and stood second in the Northwest Division, half a game behind the Timberwolves for the top spot. They were third in the Western Conference standings, half a game behind Minnesota for the top spot and five games clear of the Pelicans to remain in a guaranteed playoff spot. Against Sacramento, Denver led by three after the opening quarter before getting outscored 35-22 in the second quarter to trail by 10 at the half. The Nuggets got within six in the opening minute of the third quarter before giving up a 9-0 run to trail by 15 and never recovered. Denver shot 46.3% from the floor, including 10 of 29 from three-point range, and allowed the Kings to shoot 58.6% in the contest. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 23 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the l oss.

On the year, Denver is 18th in the league in scoring offense with an average of 114.6 points per game this season. Denver is 26th as they connect on 11.5 three-pointers a night while the team is 13th as they knock down 37.1% of their attempts from beyond the arc.

Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) missed the last two games while Porter Jr. (knee) missed Friday’s contest as well. Both players are considered questionable for this contest so watch for further updates.
