The Dallas Stars face the St. Louis Blues with both teams heading in opposite directions this season. The Stars have a 20-8-4 record and with a three-game winning streak, they boast the best record in the Central Division as they return from the break. The Blues have a 17-15-1 record and are near the bottom of the Central Division but have won back-to-back games. Both teams look to improve in the division and the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a good one.

The Stars are having a great season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.50 goals per game with 11 goals in the last three games. Jason Robertson, Joe Pavelski, and Matt Duchene have scored 34 goals and 57 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has been great as well. Esa Lindell and Jani Hakanpaa have combined for 3.7 defensive point shares and 114 blocked shots, but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to easily find open shots on the net.
