A full slate of NFL games concludes with our Cowboys-Giants Sunday Night Football player props based on the best NFL odds. Which stars will shine?

The opening week festivities on Sunday culminate with a long-standing NFC East rivalry, as the Dallas Cowboys hit the field without running back Ezekiel Elliott for the first time in seven seasons, and they've also brought in wide receiver Brandin Cooks to provide quarterback Dak Prescott with another set of veteran hands; Dallas is hopeful that these changes will be sufficient to propel them to the conference championship this year.

As for the New York Giants, they are hoping that the newly acquired tight end, Darren Waller, can ignite their struggling passing attack. Keeping up with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cowboys is a challenging endeavor, but the former Las Vegas Raiders pass catcher should provide assis tance.

Here is our best Cowboys vs. Giants player props for Sunday Night Football (odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Going deep is an area where Dallas wideout CeeDee Lamb excels. Last season, the Cowboys' deep threat registered 11 games with a reception of at least 24 yards. This includes both meetings against the Giants, snagging a 26-yard pass in one and securing a 25-yarder in the other. He also managed to exceed this total in both playoff appear ances.

The young receiver already has 32 matchups over his three year career where he had 24 or more receiving yards. He did this in four of six games against the Giants. Lamb cashed this prop in four of seven Sunday Night Football appearances.

There's no longer any question as to who is Dallas' number one running back. With Zeke no longer in the picture, Tony Pollard now commands the Cowboys' backfield. Even with Elliott on the roster, Pollard registered at least 69 rushing yards in eight contests. Three of his last four games against the Giants went above this total.

The Giants had a struggling rush defense last season, allowing an average of 146.3 rushing yards per game, ranking fifth-worst in the NFL. Notably, Dallas managed to accumulate 336 total rushing yards across their two regular-season encounters with the Giants.

It's no question running back Saquon Barkley remains New York's greatest offensive weapon. However, his struggles against the Cowboys put this prop into play. The powerhouse back averaged just over 58 rushing yards in eight games versus Dallas. In turn, this led to Giants quarterback Daniel Jones attempting at least 32 passes in each of his last two meetings with division rivals.

All told last season, Jones had six contests that exceeded this total. Although, it was with one of the league's least productive receiving corps. New York averaged just 187.1 passing yards in 2022, a sixth worst. Adding Waller should give Jones a mor e reliable target, leading to more passing attempts.
