SGP predictions for Cowboys vs. Giants

Danny Dimes dropped 15 touchdown passes into the bucket for his receivers in 2022, but he also scampered for a career-high seven touchdowns on the ground. Jones' ability to use his legs when necessary helped earn him a massive contract extension. There's no reason for him to stray from what works with a division rival in town.

The Cowboys' defense allowed three rushing TDs to opposing quarterbacks during the 2022 regular season.

Within their same-game parlay portals, both DraftKings and FanDuel list Jones with +200 odds to score a non-passing touchdown during Sunday Night Football.

Surprisingly, Tony Pollard cleared this receiving total only six times during his breakout 2022 regular season. But he enjoyed a productive receiving stretch from Week 10 through Week 15 when Pollard vaulted beyond the 18.5-yard total in four of six games.

Pollard is expected to carry a heavier portion of the load out of the Dallas backfield now with Ezekiel Elliott removed from the equation. Given the value of his versatility, that should include his pass-catching skills out of the gate Sunday night.

Only alternate receiving yardage totals are offered for Tony Pollard through DraftKings, so you're choosing between Over 14.5 yards (-210) and Over 19.5 yards (-130 odds) at that sportsbook. It's the offering that truly tanks the value of playing this parlay at DraftKings, as FanDuel lists Pollard with a lower total (18.5 yards) and at more favorable odds (-110).

Giants games were 8-10-1 on Overs in 2022, while the Cowboys checked in at 9-10 to the Over. Six of New York's nine home games in 2022 finished with fewer than 45.5 points, and last year's home matchup with the Cowboys ended in a 23-16 Dallas win. 

Though the single-leg odds at FanDuel (-115) are slightly worse than at DraftKings (-110), this final leg takes our parlay at FanDuel from +428 all the way to a robust +1135. Meanwhile at DraftKings, adding Under 45.5 moves our parlay odds from +391 up to only +1000.

By selecting a specific anytime touchdown scorer while also dictating a limitation to the total number of touchdowns while including the Under, we're the beneficiaries of some extra juice to our parlay. FanDuel generally seems to reward bettors for contrarian SGP plays that fly in the face of standard correlation concepts. That trend seems to apply here, too.
