The Cornell Big Red are on the road as they make the trip to take on the George Mason Patriots Wednesday night. Cornell dropped Fordham 78-73 on the road in their previous contest Saturday, winning outright as a two-point underdog. George Mason rolled to a 67-45 home win over Austin Peay in their most recent game Friday night, covering the line as a 6.5-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Big Red won the lone previous matchup as they took a 68-60 road win back on November 14, 2014.

Cornell won their third straight game to open the season as they took care of business on the road against Fordham in their previous contest. The Big Red comes into this game 3-0 on the season and look to maintain their momentum as they take the floor in this one. Against Fordham, Cornell took control of the game with an 18-0 run to take a 27-13 advantage with nine minutes to play in the first half. The Big Red ran to a 45-24 lead at the half and was up as many as 27 with 17:22 remaining in the game. Cornell hung on as Fordham closed the gap to three points on multiple occasions in the final five minutes to earn the win. The Big Red shot 54% from the floor, including seven of 18 from three-point range, and overcame 20 turnovers in the win. Nazir Williams led Cornell with 15 points off the bench in the win.

The Big Red is 47th in the nation in scoring offense as they average 89.7 points pe r game this season. Cornell pulls down an average of 38.3 boards a night and dishes out an average of 19.3 assists per contest.
