Celtics vs Wizards Prediction & Pick
Although neither side performed exceptionally well last night, the Wizards left much more to be desired. For starters, they got off to a terrible start, trailing 51-29 at halftime. The Wizards also only shot 35.6% from the floor and barely capitalized on the Pacers' 21 turnovers. It doesn't help that Jonathan Davis was the only Washington player to score more than 13 points.
Even if the Celtics weren't perfect, four of their players still scored 13-plus points. Their shooting splits weren't horrible (.413/.345/.800) and they even out-rebounded the Heat 45-38. Boston's 20 turnovers weren&# 39;t exactly ideal, but that might not be an issue after Washington couldn't exploit Indiana's gaffes.
Throw in the fact that they scored 51 first-half points yesterday and it's clear that the Celtics are in a better spot to win.

I like the idea of the Celtics covering as the 2.5-point favorite tonight. The Wizards can't be relied on to keep things close after how dreadful their start against the Pacers was. E ven though Washington improved as the game went on, its lack of shooting success can't be ignored, especially when Boston actually shot decently.
Expect the Celtics to pull away early and not look back.
