The biggest reason behind the Knicks' loss yesterday was their inability to hit their perimeter shots. While the 76ers went 11-of-29 (37.9%) from downtown, New York only shot 15% (3-of-20) from the three-point line. In today's NBA where three-point shooting is key, poor efficiency like that rarely produces results.
The Nets, on the other hand, were more careful with the ball. They shot 31.4% (11-of-35) on their three-point attempts and only turned the ball over 11 times to the Cavaliers' 20. Having said that, Brooklyn did commit 30 fouls and was outscored 34-26 in the fourth quarter, so a more complete effort is necessary.
Nevertheless, I still liked the Nets' effort better, which is why I'm siding with them to win. The Knicks simply can't win if they still can't hit their three-pointers. With how bad some of their shots were against the 76ers, I don't see those changes happening overnight.

With young players prone to making mistakes as well, I see a fair amount of points being scored today.
