Two Sun Belt Conference Rivals meet on the gridiron Saturday when the Appalachian State Mountaineers (6-4, 4-2 Sun Belt) visit Harrisonburg, Virginia and Bridgeforth Stadium to play against the James Madison Dukes (10-0, 6-0 Sun Belt). Appalachian State defeated Georgia State 42-14 last Saturday for its third straight win. The Mountaineers trail first place James Madison by two games in the Sun Belt East division. James Madison defeated Connecticut 44-6 last Saturday to remain undefeated at 10-0. A win on Saturday clinches the East division of the Sun Belt for the Dukes. Appalachian State will play without QB Ryan Burger. James Madison will play without DL Jalen Green, DL Abi Nwabuoko-Okonji and RB Solomon Vanhorse.
