The Capitals led by a goal twice in this contest, but the Canucks responded to tie the game each time, eventually forcing overtime. That is where J.T. Miller delivered the game-winner, scoring 4:55 into the extra frame to give Vancouver the victory. Elias Pettersson had an assist in the game and now has eight points over his last five games. Pettersson leads the team with 69 total points. The Canucks are tops in the NHL at 3.68 goals per game.
