UNLV at San Diego State 11/5/22 – College Football Picks & Predictions

The UNLV Rebels travel to San Diego, CA this week for a game against the San Diego State Aztecs. UNLV comes into their ninth game of the season 4-4 this year riding a 3 game skid after a 23 point blowout loss to Notre Dame. Defensively UNLV was obliterated as Notre Dame scored 44 points including 30 in the first half on 428 total yards of offense. The UNLV offense faltered scoring 21 points on 299 yards but turned the ball over one time and failed to convert a 3rd down resulting in the loss.

Cameron Frield completed eight of 15 passes for 80 yards, while Harris and Bailey completed nine passes for 73 yards and ran the ball 5 times for 25 yards and 1 score as well. Courtney Reese led all ball carriers for UNLV with 142 yards on 11 carries. Jordan Younge-Humphrey added 8 yards and 2 scores on 7 carries.

The San Diego State Aztecs go back home this week 4-4 on the year after a four point loss in Fresno on Saturday. Defensively San Diego State struggled immensely as Fresno State totaled nearly 400 yards of offense to score 32 points in the game after 22 points came in the second-half to erase a San Diego State lead.
