The UNC Wilmington Seahawks take the trip up the east coast as they travel to face the Drexel Dragons Thursday night. UNC Wilmington knocked off Northeastern 71-59 at home in their previous game Saturday, covering the line as a 7.5-point favorite. Drexel was dropped 66-52 on the road by Hofstra Monday night in their previous game, failing to cover the line as a nine-point underdog. In the all-time series between the programs, the Seahawks own a 23-15 advantage and have taken the last two matchups. That includes a 69-63 road win in the most recent matchup on February 24, 2022.

Against Northeastern, UNC Wilmington led by just two with nine minutes to play in the first half before closing the half on a 15-4 run to take a 33-20 edge at intermission. The Seahawks didn’t let the Huskies get closer than six the rest of the way en route to the win. UNC Wilmington shot 45.5% from the field, including three of seven from three-point range, and knocked down 28 of 36 free throw attempts in the game. Trazarien White led the Seahawks with 23 points and seven rebounds in the win.
