Is the world ready for not one, but two, sports betting-themed Hollywood comedies?
Hope so, because that's exactly what we're getting, as Deadline.com wrote about a show coming to Amazon sometime in the near future, hot on the heels of Max announcing their entry.
Called Sharps, the Amazon show is about a 30-something guy named Tyler Flynn with a job, a gal, and a … sports betting problem. He hits rock bottom, comes clean to his family, and then is recruited into a sports betting syndicate said to be run by “Buddy Kasper, an eccentric, possibly psychopathic professional sports gambler.”
