Tulsa at Houston – 11/26/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane and Houston Cougars face off on Saturday in a college football showdown at TDECU Stadium. When these two teams faced off last year it was Houston that secured the 45-10 victory.

Tulsa comes into this game with a 4-7 record and they have gone 2-8-1 against the spread. In the last game against South Florida, the offense was elite scoring 48 points, and that was enough to secure the six-point victory. Braylon Braxton had a big game completing 20 of his 27 passes for 302 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Running back Deneric Prince also had a big game finishing with 26 carries for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Tulsa is averaging 30 points while their defense is giving up 33.4 points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is Houston who sits with a 7-4 record and they have gone 4-7 against the spread. In the last game against East Carolina, Houston had their most impressive game of the season winning 42-3. Quarterback Clayton Tune completed 32 of his 44 passes for 435 yards, four touchdowns, one interception. Clayton Tune was the top rusher though, and they need a more balanced running game here. Houston is averaging 37.8 points while their defense is giving up 33.2 points per game. On the season Tune has thrown for 3,459 yards, 35 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Houston will probably try to make this game a shootout, and make it so Tulsa has to catch up with them.
