UCF at USF – 11/26/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Central Florida Knights and South Florida Bulls face off on Saturday in an AAC college football showdown at Raymond James Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was Central Florida that secured the 17-13 victory. 

Central Florida comes into this game with an 8-3 record and they have gone 7-4 against the spread. Central Florida looked to be in the drivers seat for a New Years Six bowl, but now they have some work to do after losing their last game. The offense could only put up 14 points against Navy, and that led to the three-point loss. Central Florida is averaging 33.9 points while their defense is giving up 19.7 points per game. Quarterback John Rhys Plumlee is having a big season throwing for 2,122 yards, 12 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He has also rushed for 715 yards and nine touchdowns. 

On the other side of this matchup is South Florida who sits with a 1-10 record and they have gone 4-7 against the spread. In the last game against Tulsa, they were competitive, scoring 42 points, but the defense gave up 48 points. Byrum Brown has completed 21 of his 25 passes for 240 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. South Florida is averaging 27 points while their defense is giving up 40.7 points per game. The offense is averaging 388.4 yards per game. At times though, they have struggled to finish drives.
