Tucker Lutz has an uphill battle ahead of him at UFC Vegas 77. Not only are the odds in his opponent's favor, but Lutz also needs to break out of his funk. The Baltimore, MD native has lost back-to-back fights after winning 12 in a row, most recently submitting to Daniel Pineda back in March.
Meanwhile, Melsik Baghdasaryan – an ex-kickboxer-turned-MMA-fighter – has had an interesting UFC career thus far. He impressively won three straight fights to begin his company tenure, but now heads to Sin City following a submission loss to Joshua Culibao at UFC 284.
I just don't see Lutz pulling off the upset this weekend. He'll also be determined to bounce back from his latest loss, whereas Lutz has shown that he struggles in the face of adversity.
I'm still expecting a close fight but like Baghdasaryan's odds of success a bit more.
