Taira vs Chairez Prediction

Tatsuro Taira was supposed to face Kleydson Rodrigues a few weeks ago, but the latter pulled out of that fight. Instead, the Japanese prodigy will face Edgar Chairez on relatively short notice.

While an upset isn't impossible, I don't see Chairez getting the victory here. Taira has been dominant throughout his career and is already 3-0 in the UFC. He's finished off two of those opponents, most recently tallying a first-round submission win over Jesus Aguilar back in February.

Meanwhile, Chairez hasn't exactly faced anyone on Taira's level. In fact, this is the 27-year-old's first UFC fight since he lost to Clayton Carpenter via unanimous decision on . Al though Chairez has won twice since that loss, those victories came against lesser competition in UWC and Fury FC.

In other words, Taira's undefeated run isn't in danger this weekend.

Taira vs Chairez Best Bet

I really don't see Chairez lasting long against a submission expert like Taira. After all, Chairez has already been submitted twice in his career and doesn't have the same level of grappling as his opponent. Taira will tire his opponent out early on before sealing the deal with one of his many submission moves.
