The Stony Brook Seawolves and the College of Charleston Cougars face off on Sunday in the CAA Tournament at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. When these two teams faced off on February 25th it was Charleston that secured the 92-52 victory.
Stony Brook sits with an 11-21 record and they are coming off a big victory on Saturday. The defense gave up only 61 points against North Carolina A&T and that was the difference as they were able to secure the 15 point victory. Frankie Policelli had a strong game finishing with 30 points and 16 rebounds in 40 minutes. Stony Brook is averaging 63.1 points while their defense is giving up 69.2 points per game. Tyler Stephenson-Moore is having a strong season averaging 14.5 points while shooting 40.5 percent from behind the field.
On the other side of this matchup is the College of Charleston who sits with a 28-3 record overall and they are coming off another huge victory in the last game. The last game was against Stony Brook and they scored 92 points on the way to the 40 point victory. Ben Burnham had a strong game finishing with 25 points and seven rebounds. They are averaging 81.7 points while their defense is giving up 68 points per game. They want to push the pace and they are going to try and run up the score here. Dalton Bolon is averaging 12.7 points while shooting 41.8 percent from the field.
