The Stanford Cardinal make the short trip as they travel to take on the #4 UCLA Bruins Thursday night. Stanford upset #4 Arizona 88-79 at home in their previous game Saturday, winning outright as a 7.5-point underdog. UCLA beat Oregon 70-63 on the road in their previous game Saturday night, covering the line as a 1.5-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Bruins own a 120-46 advantage and have won the last three meetings. That includes an 80-66 road win in the most recent matchup on December 1, 2022.

Stanford snapped a two-game skid as they stunned #4 Arizona at home Saturday night and now look to drop a second straight ranked foe. The Cardinal enter this game 11-14 overall and stand ninth in the Pac-12 with a 5-9 record in conference play. Against Arizona, Stanford led by four in the first half, gave up a 13-0 run to trail by nine and scored the final six points of the first half to make it a three-point game at intermission. The Cardinal trailed 66-65 with 8:13 to play before going on a 15-3 run that put them in front 80-69 with 3:07 to go. They didn’t let the Wildcats closer than six the rest of the way. Stanford shot a blistering 61.1% from the floor, including 10 of 18 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 34-26. Michael O’Connell led the Cardinal with 22 points in the win.

The Cardinal is averaging 69.2 points per game on the season, putting them 242nd in the nation in scoring offense. Stanford is collecting an average of 35.2 rebounds per contest while they dish out 14 assists a night on the season.
