St. Thomas at Utah – 11/26/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The St. Thomas Tommies and Utah Utes face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at the Jon M Huntsman Center.

St Thomas has gotten out to a fast start to the season and they sit with a 5-2 record. They have gone 6-1 against the spread, but this is a very good test for this team. In the last game against Milwaukee, it took 41 points in the second half, but they were able to secure the 76-72 victory. Forward Brooks Allen was the top player for St. Thomas scoring 20 points and grabbing six rebounds. St. Thomas is averaging 73.1 points while their defense is giving up 66.9 points per game. In this game it’s going to be very important that the defense is good. Guard Riley Miller has been the top player averaging 15.6 points while shooting 48.5 percent from the field. 

On the other side of this matchup is Utah who sits with a 4-2 record and they have gone 3-3 against the spread. In the last game against Mississippi State the offense really struggled scoring only 49 points, and that led to the defeat. Ben Carlson and Marco Anthony were the top scorers putting up 10 points. Utah is averaging 67.2 points while their defense is giving up 55.2 points per game. Carlson has been the top player averaging 13 points while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from behind the three point line.
