Ross vs Aguilar Prediction

Here's a fight between two competitors hoping to reverse their respective fortunes. On one hand, there's Shannon Ross, who's 1-3 in his last four fights and suffered back-to-back TKO losses to begin his UFC run.

On the other side is Jesus Aguilar, who's a relatively new face. The 27-year-old previously won eight fights in a row, but his luck came to an end at UFC Vegas 68 when he was submitted by Tatsuro Taira in the first round of their fight.

As both men come off losses, I'm backing Aguilar to return to the win column Saturday. Although his last outing was disappointing, he has the chance to make up for it against an opponent who's yet to make it beyond the second round of a U FC fight.

In other words, look for Aguilar to put on a statement performance.

Ross vs Aguilar Best Bet

Judging by how quickly Ross has been finished lately, I won't be surprised if Jesus Aguilar wins by KO/TKO or submission. Although Aguilar has yet to win a fight by knockout, six of his eight career wins have come by submission.

Considering how Ross absorbs 8.99 significant strikes per minute and doesn't have the best grappling skills, he's in a bad spot here. Aguilar will win before the time limit is reached.
