The Seattle Kraken face the Colorado Avalanche with both teams having great seasons. The Kraken have a 35-21-6 record and with three wins in a row, they have leaped into third place in the Pacific Division. The Avalanche have a 34-21-5 record but hope to bounce back from back-to-back losses. Both teams look to continue to improve in the Western Conference and the playoff picture and the upcoming game should be a great one as a result.

Adam Larsson and Vince Dunn have combined for 7.0 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. In addition, goaltender Martin Jones has struggled with a .888 save percentage and a 2.98 goals-against average on 1020 shots with -17.3 goals saved a bove average.
