The New Jersey Devils face the Arizona Coyotes with both teams heading in opposite directions this season. Dawson Mercer, Tomas Tatar, and Yegor Sharangovich have combined for 47 goals and 61 assists while defenseman Dougie Hamilton has added 18 goals and 41 assists from the point to open up the offense.
The offense has been great but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.67 goals per game. Ryan Graves and Jonas Seigenthaler have combined for 8.6 defensive point shares and 227 blocked shots while Dougie Hamilton, John Marino, and Damon Severson have combined for 9.3 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Vitek Vanecek has been great with a .910 save percentage and a 2.46 goals-against average on 987 shots with 4.5 goals saved above average.
