New Jersey Devils vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-5-2023

The New Jersey Devils face the Arizona Coyotes with both teams heading in opposite directions this season. The Devils have a 40-15-6 record and are in second place in the Metropolitan Division while the Coyotes have a 21-32-9 record and have lost back-to-back games while trading away most of their reliable players at the trade deadline. Both teams look to improve in their divisions and the upcoming game looks to be a good one as a result.

The offense has been great but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.67 goals per game. Ryan Graves and Jonas Seigenthaler have combined for 8.6 defensive point shares and 227 blocked shots while Dougie Hamilton, John Marino, and Damon Severson have combined for 9.3 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. In addition, goaltender Vitek Vanecek has been great with a .910 save percentage and a 2.46 goals-against average on 987 shots with 4.5 goals saved above average.
