We have a Pacific Divsion matchup between the Seattle Kraken and the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night inside the Honda Center. The Kraken are fifth in the Pacific Division (11-14-9, 31 points) and are coming off a 2-1 road win on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Kings. The Ducks are seventh in the Pacific Division (12-20-0, 24 points) and lost in their most recent game against the Calgary Flames on Thursday. This is the first of four games against one another so this should be interesting to see how this divisional matchup will face off.

The Seattle Kraken have been playing well but the statistics are showing a completely different tale. They rank 25th offensively with 92 total goals scored thus far and right winger Oliver Bjorkstrand is leading the offense with 26 points (10 goals, 16 assists) right now and scored five points in his last four games. In his previous game against the Los Angeles Kings, he finished without any points or shots in 14:40 on the ice. They are doing right around league average on the power play right now as they have converted on 21-of-105 (20.00 percent) of their attempts up to this point.

Joey Daccord is expected to be the starter inside the crease for this matchup and has been nothing more than average so far. On the season, he is 6-5-8 with 2.56 goals given up and a .911 save percentage. He needs to continue to play like he did in his last game against Los Angeles as he allowed one goal on 43 shot attempts in a victory. Seattle has to improve as a defensive team as their 110 goals allowed ranks 24th in the league. They are killing 78-of-98 (.59 percent) of penalties committed so they are in a good position at that front.
