San Francisco at Pacific – 2/16/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The San Francisco Dons will make the 90-minute trip to Stockton to face the Pacific Tigers in WCC play from USF leads the all-time series, 56-28, after winning the most recent meeting back in January.

San Francisco moved to 16-12 after defeating Pepperdine R home. The Dons avoided disaster after trailing at the break to beat the last-placed Waves by eight, 88-80.  USF scores 74.6 points per game, while allowing 69.6 ppg, and shooting 44.6% from the field.

San Francisco snapped a three-game skid with the necessary win over Pepperdine, and they’ll look to close the season strong here. USF is 5-8 in WCC play, with a 4-5 road record. Senior guard Khalil Shabazz has given his best effort over the past couple of weeks, scoring 21 points or more in four of the past six games to bring his team-lead to 16.3 ppg. Former Wazzu guard Tyrell Roberts went off for a season-high 32 points in the win over Pepperdine, and he’s up to 15.9 ppg.  21 points in the win over LMU, and he leads USF in scoring (14.9). Zane Meeks scored 17 points in the first meeting with Pacific, and he’s averaging 12.0 ppg and a team-high 5.5 rpg.
