A little more than a week after announcing a problem gambling treatment partnership with Sporttrade, Birches Health has partnered with another operator, SaharaBets, to bring similar services to the sportsbook’s Arizona customers.
According to a press release, the partnership – forged in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Gaming – provides SaharaBets' customers with a custom referral pathway for users facing behavioral health challenges. Birches Health is already featured prominently on the betting app, offering free risk assessments, responsible gambling tools, and insurance-compatible counseling to sports bettors who feel like they have or might be developing a gambling problem.
“We are pleased to collaborate with SaharaBets to ensure individuals who need educational resources and treatment can access them quickly, conveniently, and securely,” Elliott Rapaport, founder of Birches Health, said in the release. “Partnerships like this one ensure a supportive, safer ecosystem throughout Arizona.”
“We are excited to offer SaharaBets' customers information and resources that are easy to access and utilize directly from the SaharaBets app,” added SaharaBets President Andrew Patterson. “Furthermore, we look forward to working with the Birches Health team on continuing to improve the learning opportunities for our team and customers.”
Birches' March rollout of these partnerships coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
