The Richmond Spiders are on the road as they make the trip up the east coast to face the Boston College Eagles Wednesday night. Richmond cruised to an easy 90-48 home win over Siena in their previous contest Saturday, covering the line as a 13.5-point favorite. Boston College took down The Citadel 75-71 on the road Friday night in their previous contest, though they failed to cover the line as a 9.5-point favorite. In the all-time series between the programs, the Spiders own a 3-1 advantage, including a 64-44 triumph at home in the most recent matchup on November 30, 2019.

Richmond hung 90 points on Siena to mark just the second time in program history that they put up at least 90 points in their first two games of the season. The Spiders improved to 2-0 on the season and look for their 28th win over a power conference program under the leadership of Chris Mooney here. Against Siena, Richmond never trailed and broke the game open with a 12-0 run in the first half that gave them a 34-17 advantage with 5:22 to play in the half. The Spiders were up 21 at the half and led by as many as 44 in the second half en route to the victory. Richmond shot 59.3% from the floor, including 10 of 18 from beyond the arc, and held Siena to 40% shooting while forcing 22 turnovers in the game. Isaiah Bigelow led the Spiders with 17 points in the win.
