Philadelphia Phillies at Houston Astros – 10/29/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros face off on Saturday in Game 2 of the World Series at Minute Maid Park. 

In Game 1 it was the Phillies that were able to secure the 6-5 victory. At the end of the third inning, the Astros were up 5-0 and it looked like they were going to cruise to an easy first-game victory. The Phillies never stopped fighting though, and they were able to win the game 6-5 in extra innings. JT Realmuto was the difference maker for the Phillies hitting a home run in the 10th inning. He finished with two hits and three RBIs. Alec Bohm also had a big game finishing with one hit and two runs. Kyle Tucker had a big game for the Astros finishing with three hits, two runs, and four RBIs. Both bullpens got plenty of work on Friday night including the Astros that used seven different pitchers. 

On the mound for the Phillies will be Zack Wheeler and in the playoffs, he sits with a 1-1 record and an ERA of 1.78. In his last appearance against the San Diego Padres, he went six innings giving up three hits and two runs.
