North Dakota at Oral Roberts Prediction – Basketball Picks 2/16/23

The North Dakota Fighting Hawks will travel down to Tulsa to take on the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles from the Mabee Center. Oral Roberts leads the head-to-head series, 7-3, after winning the last five meetings.

North Dakota moved to 10-17 after defeating Omaha in Grand Forks. The Fighting Hawks and the Mavericks traded blows in an overtime duel, and UND snuck out with a three-point victory, 76-73. North Dakota is scoring 70.9 ppg, while allowing 73.1 ppg, and shooting 43.7% from the field.

North Dakota climbed out of the conference cellar by winning their last three games, but that momentum may come to a halt Thursday evening. UND is 4-10 in Summit League play, with a 3-10 road record. The offense has been scarce for UND, with inexperience hindering the production. Freshman forward B.J. Omot scored 20 points in the first meeting with ORU, and he leads the team in scoring (11.6). Junior guard Matt Norman scored a team-high 21 points on the win over Omaha, and he’s scoring an identical 11.5 ppg.
