The closest game of the NBA Playoffs opening weekend was Sunday evening when the Oklahoma City Thunder held on for a 94-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 1.
The top-seeded Thunder and No. 8 Pelicans were tied after one quarter as well as halftime before the home team ultimately prevailed down the stretch.
New Orleans has real matchup advantages against Oklahoma City in the opening round, but oddsmakers still expect the top seed in the Western Conference to advance.
The Thunder are -1200 favorites to win the series.
