Kings vs. Pelicans Player Props & Odds: NBA Playoff Expert Picks for Fridayiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

An NBA playoff spot is on the line Friday as the Sacramento Kings take on the New Orleans Pelicans, and we're offering our top Kings vs. Pelicans player props based on the best NBA odds.

The Sacramento Kings (46-36) head to the Smoothie Center in New Orleans, La., hoping to steal the final seed in the Western Conference playoffs away from the New Orleans Pelicans (49-33), with the game tipping at 9:30 p.m. ET (TNT) on Friday.

Without Zion Williamson, the Pelicans are 1.5-point underdogs across our best sports betting sites after falling to the Los Angeles Lakers 110-106 in the first play-in game. With Williamson out, the Kings look poised for a big night as they ride the momentum of their 118-94 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Here are our best Kings vs. Pelicans player props and NBA picks (odds via our
best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Kings vs. Pelicans prop bet predictions

Without Williamson, the Pelicans are going to need to rely on Brandon Ingram, the team's second-leading scorer (20.8 PPG). While Ingram's scoring output has been sporadic this year, he's turned in 34 performances of 20 points in 64 games (53.1%) and will see more opportunity without Zion in th e lineup.

The Kings rank in the back half of the league in points allowed per game (114.8) and the thought of Ingram should scare them, and not just because he's nicknamed Slenderman. Sacramento gives up the ninth-most points per game in the NBA to small forwards (22.03) and the third-most 3-pointers (3.06).

That's why this prop is priced as short as -111 at our other best sportsbooks, implying a 52.61% probability he hits the Over, according to our odds calculator. But at our price via DraftKings, a $10 bet will lead to a $9.80 profit.

Williamson is nicknamed “Zanos” for a reason. Without him, the Pelicans aren't perfectly balanced on either end of the court. Zion's absence should open the paint up for the NBA's leading rebounder, Domantas Sabonis (13.7 RPG).

Sabonis is positioned to do his best Thor impression and pull in rebounds like the ball is Mjolnir and he's calling to it. Williamson is the team's second-leading rebounder and New Orleans already allows 15.14 rebounds per game to centers when he's in the lineup.

Without him, Sabonis is set for his 37th game of at least 14 rebounds this season. At our -102 odds from DraftKings a $10 bet pays out $18.93 on this prop, which is priced as short as -120 elsewhere, implying a 54.55% chance it hits.

The Williamson injury isn't the only absence impacting this game, the Kings are still without Malik Monk, the favorite by the NBA Sixth Man of the Year odds. Without Monk, second-year shooting guard Keon Ellis has had to step up, and he's impressed. Ellis is coming off a postseason debut against the Warriors in which he made three 3-pointers.

Over his last five games, Ellis is averaging 3.4 made 3-pointers per game and should be able to exploit a Pelicans defense that allows the seventh-most 3-pointers per game in the NBA (13.5). New Orleans' perimeter defense really struggles against two guards like Ellis, allowing the fourth-most 3-pointers to the position in the NBA (3.63).

The odds at DraftKings imply only a 42.37% probability Ellis hits three or more 3-pointers, but we're banking on him embracing the Buddy Hield lifestyle and turning a $10 bet into a $13.60 profit.
