The Wildcats got off to a strong start in non-conference play, blowing out South Dakota and Missouri. Their lone loss came in a 17-10 loss to Tulane in mid-September, but the Green Wave have been one of the biggest stories in the country this season. Tulane is unbeaten entering this week and is ranked for the first time since 1998. Kansas State’s offense went cold last week against Iowa State, scoring just 10 points in the one-point win.

The Wildcats are coming off their bye week after squeaking past Iowa State two weeks ago. Quarterback Adrian Martinez, who spent the first portion of his career with Nebraska, has thrown 138 passes without an interception this season, completing 62.3% of his attempts. Martinez is also on pace to rush for 1,000 yards for the first time in his five years in college. Kansas State picked up a 31-12 win against TCU at home last season. The Wildcats have covered the spread in six of the last seven head-to-head meetings between these teams. They have also covered at a remarkable 11-1-1 clip in their last 13 games played in Week 8.
