Kansas Sports Betting On Track For Sept. 1 Launch After Concerns

Kansas sports betting is back on track for a Sept. 1 launch.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office approved the remaining Kansas Lottery regulations Tuesday. Last week, the office notified the Lottery there were multiple issues with the regulations, shortly after the agency announced the Kansas sports betting launch date.

The Attorney General’s Office still needs to sign off on the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission regulations, which were submitted Aug. 17. The Lottery and KRGC regularly work with the attorney general and do not appear concerned about the outstanding regulations.

“There are significantly more of those regulations than there were Lottery regulations, and we will continue to expedite that process,” AG spokesperson John Milburn wrote in an email to .
