It’s a quarterfinal matchup of the Charleston Classic as a member of the Big 12 takes on a program from the CAA in the Palmetto State. The #6 Houston Cougars are the “road” team as they take on the Towson Tigers Thursday evening. Houston cruised to a 79-48 home victory over Stetson in their previous contest Monday night, though they failed to cover the line as a 32.5-point favorite. Towson downed Robert Morris 66-62 at home in their previous contest Sunday though they failed to cover the line as an 8.5-point favorite. This marks the first time that the two programs have met on the hardwood as Division I foes.
