Houston Astros at Philadelphia Phillies – 11/2/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies face off on Wednesday in Game 4 of the World Series at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies currently have a 2-1 series lead, and will take real control of this series with a win here.

On Tuesday it was the Phillies that secured the 7-0 victory. Bryce Harper started the scoring with a two-run home run in the first inning, and they never looked back as they cruised to the easy victory. Kyle Schwarber also had a big night finishing with one hit, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Ranger Suarez had a nice start for Philadelphia going five innings and giving up only three hits. The Phillies bullpen used four different pitchers and each went an inning. The bullpen only gave up two hits total.

For the Astros they finished with five total hits, but couldn’t get any runs to cross the plate. Jose Altuve again struggled finishing with four at-bats and zero hits. There was no batter with more than one hit. The only good news for the Astros is they only had to use two bullpen members and that could help them in this game.
