The Hofstra Pride are on the road as they travel to face the George Washington Revolutionaries Tuesday night. Hofstra comes in off a 74-67 home loss to Princeton in their previous contest Friday night, losing outright as a 1.5-point favorite. George Washington knocked off William & Mary 95-89 at home Saturday night in their previous contest, failing to cover the line as an 11-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Revolutionaries own a 3-2 advantage though it was the Pride picking up a 85-80 home win in the most recent matchup on November 14, 2022.

Hofstra hung in against Princeton at home but ended up falling to the Tigers in their previous contest. The Pride dropped to 1-1 on the season and look to get back in the win column as they take to the road again for this contest. Against Princeton, Hofstra led by as many as seven in the first half but went to the locker room down one at intermission. The Pride took their last lead at 31-30 with 19:18 to play in the second half but gave up a 12-2 run that left them down 42-33. Hofstra never got closer than four the rest of the way. The Pride shot 43.9% from the field, including eight of 24 from three-point range, and turned the ball over 14 times in the loss. Darlinstone Dubar led Hofstra with 18 points in the loss.

The Pride enters this game 100th in the nation in scoring offense with an average of 84 points per game. Hofstra stands 179th in rebounding with 38.5 boards a night while ranking 12th by dishing out 22 assists a night. The Pride is above average on the defensive end as they are 64th in the nation by allowing 61 points a night. Tyler Thomas (16 points) leads Hofstra’s offense as he averages 19.5 points per game.
