This is a preliminary bout between two fighters with a lot to prove. Gregory Rodrigues has been fairly consistent since returning to the UFC in 2021, going 4-1 in his last five fights. He's finished off his last two opponents before Round 2's halfway point, most recently defeating Chidi Njokuani by TKO at UFC Vegas 60.
Meanwhile, UFC 283 marks Brunno Ferreira's PPV debut. The 30-year-old Brazilian is a perfect 9-0 to begin his MMA career, finishing his opponents in each fight (six knockouts, thre e submissions). Keeping that in mind, he's yet to face any true UFC talent just yet.
As impressive as Ferreira has been, I expect Rodrigues to get the victory. "Robocop" has five KO/TKO victories in his last seven outings and will be too much for his inexperienced opponent to handle.
