The Gonzaga Bulldogs are on the road as they make the trip east to take on the #17 Kentucky Wildcats Saturday afternoon. Gonzaga rolled to a 96-64 home win over Portland Wednesday night in their previous contest, covering the line as a 28.5-point favorite. Kentucky crushed Vanderbilt 109-77 on the road in their previous game Tuesday night, covering the line as a nine-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, each team has won once with the Bulldogs taking an 88-72 win at home in the most recent matchup on November 20, 2022.

Gonzaga throttled Portland at home in their previous contest Tuesday night as they earned their sixth win in seven games. The Bulldogs ran their record to 17-6 overall and stand second in the WCC with an 8-2 mark in conference play. Against Portland, Gonzaga ran to a 19-1 lead five-plus minutes into the game and cruised from there. The Bulldogs were up 27 at the half and led by as many as 37 in the game en route to the one-sided victory. Gonzaga shot 55.9% from the field, including 15 of 33 from three-point range, and controlled the boards by a 43-29 margin. Braden Huff led the Bulldogs with 25 points and seven rebounds off the bench in the win.

The Bulldogs have been lighting up scoreboards this season, piling up an average of 84.7 points per game, which is 12th in the nation. Gonzaga collects 40.7 rebounds per contest (17th) and dishes out 16 assists per night on the year. The Bulldogs are 73rd in scoring defense by allowing 67.6 points a night. Braden Huff is one of five Bulldogs in double figures as he puts up 10.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season. Graham Ike (15 points, 7.3 rebounds), Anton Watson (14.8 points, 7.6 rebounds), Nolan Hickman (13 points, 2.5 assists) and Ryan Nembhard (12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists) are all good scoring options. Dusty Stromer, Ben Gregg, Jun Seok Yeo, Colby Brooks, Luka Krajnovic and Joe Few are solid contributors for coach Mark Few. Gonzaga is shooting 50.7% from the field as a team this season, which is 5th in the country. The Bulldogs are averaging seven three-pointers a night on 33.9% shooting fro m beyond the arc. Gonzaga is struggling at the charity stripe as they convert 69.7% of their chances this season.
