Golden State Warriors at Brooklyn Nets – 12/21/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets play host to the Golden State Warriors at the Barclays Center on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in a major slump as they’ve lost six of their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting thrashed by the Knicks in a 132-94 road loss last night. Jordan Poole led the team with 26 points on eight of 18 shooting, but he just didn’t get any support as Klay Thompson scored just 11 points while Draymond Green finished with just seven points and six assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 35 from the 3-point line, but they committed a total of 19 turnovers as they struggled against the pressure of the red-hot Knicks. The Warriors have struggled defensively on the road all season, but they actually remained within striking distance until the fourth quarter where they got blown out by 32-13.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 10 of their last 11 games and they will be eager to build on their six-game win streak after outlasting the Pistons in a 124-121 road win on Sunday. Kevin Durant led the team with 43 points on 14 of 22 shooting, Kyrie Irving added 38 points while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Nets shot 55 percent from the field and 15 of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half, but they made the adjustments at halftime and absolutely dominated the third quarter by 44-25 to lay the grounds for an impressive road win.
