Warriors star Draymond Green has declined his $27.5 million player option and will now become an unrestricted free agent. This move by Green was expected because it gives him the opportunity to not only re-sign with the Warriors but also explore both free agency and the sign-and-trade market.

Green was drafted 35th overall by Golden State in the 2012 NBA draft and has spent his entire career in the Bay area.
