Draymond Green Next Team Predictions, Picks & Odds 2023 – Warriors Still Favorites After Opt Outiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

Forward Draymond Green is declining his player option for the 2023-24 season, meaning he could play for a new team for the first time in his career. Let's take a look at the best NBA odds to figure out where Green will call home next year.

Is the Golden State Warriors' dynasty over?

Green's decision this summer could have a lot to say about that, as he declined his $27.5 million player option for the 2023-24 season. The four-time NBA champion will now enter unrestricted free agency, which means he could be playing for a new team for the first time in his 11-year career.

Our best sports betting apps don't believe Green is going anywhere, however, as DraftKings released betting odds for Green's next team immediately after the news of his opt out broke. The Warriors are the clear favorites to bring him back, b ut should we place a bet on a team further down the board?

Let's take a look at this market through our top NBA betting sites and try to figure out what the best play might be for our Green next team predictions.

Betting on the favorite doesn't sound fun for an offseason special market, but it is the right play in this case.

The best sports betting sites have adjusted too much on these reunion prices, when you consider the Phoenix Suns had -160 odds to bring back point guard Chris Paul in the early stages of that market. Paul, of course, was traded to the Washington Wizards in a deal involving Bradley Beal.

As a result, we are getting a plus-money value on Green and the Warriors to work something out that keeps him in the same uniform. That is clearly the most-likely outcome of this scenario, so take advantage of this +150 offering while you still can.

Head coach Steve Kerr told reporters in mid-May that the Warriors are not a championship contender without Green. After winning the title two years ago, Golden State has to have a championship mindset with this aging core. And every move needs to have that goal in mind.

Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game last season. He also continues to prove his worth on the defensive end, averaging 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks per contest. If he does walk, the Warriors will have a difficult time replacing his two-way production.

Entering his Age 33 season, Green shouldn't want to start over with anybody else, either. He might like the idea of teaming up with his friend LeBron James, as the Lakers (+500) are the biggest contenders for his services. But Green knows his role with the Warriors, and this scheme is designed to bring the most out of him.

Turning down that much money was a bold move, but one that was probably more about Green getting more long-term security. We don't foresee Green going anywhere, and this +150 price tag likely won't last long.
