Denver at Oregon State – 12/21/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Denver Pioneers will head up to Corvallis and face the Oregon State Beavers in non-conference action this Wednesday from the Gill Coliseum on the Pac-12 Network.

Denver dropped to 9-4 after a road loss to Omaha. The Pioneers were blitzed by the Mavs in the second half, and dropped their Summit League opener by 17 points. Denver scores 77.8 points per game, while allowing 74.6 ppg, and shooting 53.1% from the field.

Denver has a pretty diverse group, going about seven deep after an injury to second-leading scoring Tevin Smith. Jacksonville transfer Tommy Bruner has got it going in his absence, scoring 20 or more in each of the past three games, including a season-high 26 points in the against Sacramento State. Bruner is leading the team in scoring (15.7) and assists (4.5). Coppin State Tyree Corbett has come over from Coppin State to control the middle, and he’s done well so far, posting four double-doubles, and leading the Pioneers in rebounding (8.7), while scoring 10.5 ppg.
