ESPN's College GameDay is coming to Boulder on Saturday, where Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes have rapidly become one of the most captivating stories in the nation. Colorado boasts a 2-0 record, which includes impressive wins over TCU (45-42) and Nebraska (36-14).
The Buffaloes are now set to host a Colorado State squad that hasn't played since their 50-24 loss to Washington State in the season opener.

There appears to be a disconnect at our best sports betting apps here. Colorado freshman running back Dylan Edwards is the overwhelming favorite in the anytime touchdown market, with odds as rich as -390 for Edwards to find paydirt against Colorado State.
At DraftKings, Edwards is -370 to score a touchdown at any point in Week 3. Yet the Over on 0.5 rushing touchdowns is +130 for him, while the Over on 0.5 receiving touchdowns is much juicier. We prefer the latter because Edwards has been much more dynamic as a receiving threat to start his collegiate career.
Edward – a player I'm certainly familiar with after watching him tear it up in Derby, Kansas for four years at the preps level – delivered four touchdowns in his his collegiate debut against TCU. Three of those scores came through the air in a game where Edwards finished with five catches for 135 yards. Edwards didn't score in Week 2, but did drop a pass in the end zone against Nebraska.
Through two weeks, Edwards is fourth on the team in both targets (11) and catches (eight), trailing the team's top three receivers. I'm skeptical of how much two-way star Travis Hunter will be used on offense in games like this one, where Colorado is more than a three-touchdown favorite. That could open the door for more passing work for Edwards.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders has the highest passing touchdown prop on the board in Week 3, with a total of 3.5. We are counting on Edwards being on the receiving end of one of those touchdowns tosses, whether it is a screen in the red zone or a play where the talented running back gets to show off his blazing speed after the catch.
These odds are simply too enticing for what could be a late-night matchup that features plenty of points.

This specific prop is only available at two of our best sports betting sites, both of which are offering an Over and Under option on four different players. Colorado receivers Travis Hunter, Xavier Weaver, and Jimmy Horn Jr. all have minus odds on Over 0.5 receiving touchdowns in Week 3.
As for Edwards, his Under option is being priced as much as -475. We simply don't agree with that price discrepancy, and would make the Over on 0.5 receiving touchdowns for Edwards closer to +200 based on our projections.
We can't guarantee that Edwards will find the end zone, or that he will do so through the air. But we do believe this is too good of a price to pass up, especially when Edwards has the best anytime touchdown scorer odds in this game.

No team has moved as much as Colorado in the betting market. The lookahead line in the offseason for this game was 10 points, which bumped up to 17 after Colorado upset TCU in Week 1. The spread is now sitting at Buffaloes -23.5 after opening 20.5 earlier in the week.
As for the total, this number has started to climb after hovering around 59 for much of the week. With both coaches being vocal in interviews this week, the market is expecting fireworks by pushing this number up to 61.
